ANNE KIRK PHOTO: DOCUMENTARY & LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY
Capturing light, feelings & the moment.
If you're looking for a "say-cheese-and-smile" kind of session, I might not be the right photographer for you—and that’s okay!
When you book with me, we’re not just checking a box to "get photos done." I want us to slow down, take our time, and actually enjoy the process. I’ve learned that the only way to get images that feel alive (the ones you’ll love looking back on) is to make sure the experience itself is meaningful. I’d rather give you space to relax, let the kids run around, and capture the messy, beautiful, unscripted moments that make your life yours. It’s about the experience just as much as the final images.
You’ll find my pricing below as a starting point, but once we chat, I’ll recommend what I think makes the most sense for your shoot.

Portrait Sessions
We’ll find a spot that fits your vibe, I’ll give you just enough direction to keep things moving, and before you know it, you’ll forget there’s even a camera involved. Portrait sessions can be for your family, maternity photos, baby photos, seniors, and so on, but not weddings (scroll lower for my wedding info!)
Wedding Investment
Every love story is different, so I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all packages for them. Instead, we’ll work together to build coverage that fits your celebration — whether it’s a quiet mountaintop elopement or a full day surrounded by friends and family. Each quote is tailored to your timeline, location, and unique needs, but here are some price ranges to give you an idea!

Elopements
Elopements have evolved into a simple, intentional way to get married—one that’s all about the couple and their experience.
Modern elopements are often an adventure, whether it’s exchanging vows on top of a towering mountaintop or in front of a thundering waterfall. Sometimes they're held at venues like the local courthouse, in a backyard, or sweet little wedding chapels like the Appalachian Wedding Chapel, one of my favorite local venues.
Elopements are typically intimate, with just the couple or a handful of close family and friends. The beauty of an elopement is in its freedom—it’s a day designed entirely around you without the pressure and stress of traditional wedding planning. You choose which wedding traditions are important to you and leave behind what doesn't suit you!
Starting at $450 (10 guests or fewer)

Microweddings
A microwedding is the perfect balance between an intimate elopement and a traditional wedding. With an increased guest list compared to an elopement, it allows couples to celebrate with their closest family and friends while keeping the day personal and meaningful.
Microweddings often include a structured ceremony and reception, but on a smaller scale, making them less stressful to plan while still capturing the magic of a full wedding day. Many couples choose a dedicated venue, and with the growing popularity of smaller weddings, more spaces are catering specifically to these intimate gatherings.
For those who want the joy of a wedding without the overwhelm of a big production, a microwedding offers the best of both worlds.
Starting at $1,000 (up to 50 guests)

Full Wedding
A full wedding offers a more traditional experience with a larger guest list, typically ranging from 50 to 150+ people. It generally includes all the classic elements—getting ready, a ceremony, a structured reception, and plenty of time to celebrate with family and friends.
Unlike elopements and microweddings, full weddings often involve a dedicated venue with a full day of events, from formal dining and toasts to dancing and entertainment. While they require more planning, they also allow couples to share their day with a broader circle of loved ones and create lasting memories with everyone they hold dear.
For couples who want a vibrant, energetic atmosphere and a full-scale celebration, a traditional wedding is a beautiful way to bring everyone together and make the day truly unforgettable.
Starting at $2,000 (50+ guests)
